Surgical gel known as Spraygel. Comment 29.06.09

It has come to our notice that there have been anecdotes reported from patients who seem to have had problems following surgery for adhesions or endometriosis, where Spraygel has been used. We have discussed this with the clinicians on the Endometriosis NZ Trust Board and to our knowledge there are no robust studies to even suggest there is any genuine link between these problems and the use of Spraygel.
