"As a father, your role is to be there for your children and with Laura's illness, days in hospital and A & E took its toll, not only in time but to be told...if we don't know what we are treating, at best we can control the pain but to see Laura in extreme pain, tears... ,  not being able to work and depressed, had me going to the Doctor to seek help for myself as well. Time lost in hours and days in my work, leaves me with few holidays, which affects my wellbeing as well. The financial cost is going to take some time to recoup. Endometriosis New Zealand assisted us in every way possible and we visited them before our appointment ... we are indebted to them for their help"
