Who are we?
Endometriosis New Zealand is New Zealand’s national endometriosis organisation and has affiliated support groups throughout the country.
We represent the tens of thousands of women and girls with endometriosis in New Zealand and we work with those health professionals who treat the condition and researchers finding solutions. We provide unique and professional services and programmes to reach individuals, communities, schools, workplaces and all stakeholders involved in improving health outcomes for those with endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain.

Our logo symbol is taken from the traditional New Zealand Maori design known as the koru - the symbolism of the unfurled silver fern leaf. The koru, highly pertinent to our cause, depicts new beginnings, harmony and growth. It is often used as the symbol of new life (fertility). For endometriosis, we see it as the pathway to wellness. Our koru design is unique to ENZ but represents all women everywhere as they strive to live well with endometriosis. The shape of our logo is also suggestive of the 'e' representing endometriosis everywhere.
Our new brand was launched in 2010 and our colours reflect our commitment to our cause. We’ve chosen base colours of black and silver – very kiwi! But the splashes of spring green for new life and hope and magenta pink for energy, strength and femininity give us our identity.
Our motto 'strength through support' is key to our unique character and philosophy as we aim to support those with endometriosis, those who treat it and create awareness and support of our organisation through our work.
