NZ Specialist Endometriosis Clinics

Referral to a treatment centre with the necessary expertise to offer all available treatments in a multi-disciplinary holistic context, including advanced laparoscopic surgery, is strongly recommended. 

We are fortunate that several such centres are available in New Zealand offering private care.  Some gynaecologists specialising in endometriosis practice at some public hospitals. It is important to be referred to a gynaecologist specialising in endometriosis. Hospitals with a PPP contract with ENZ realise the particular needs their endometriosis patients have.

In New Zealand, women can choose to consult a specialist gynaecologist privately without referral from a GP. Payment for this would be a personal expense or fully or partly covered through private health insurance.
