The Endometriosis NZ University Support Network (ENZUS)
The Endometriosis NZ University Support Network (ENZUS) at UC is a satellite group of the Christchurch Support Network, which is an affiliate of Endometriosis New Zealand. A conservative estimate of 1000 women will have endometriosis at the University of Canterbury (UC). The main aims of ENZUS are to raise awareness of endometriosis and support women with the challenges of endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain.
Next meeting on the Monday 16th April at 5pm in KA04 in the Kirkwood Village at UC. This is going to be a great chance to meet others at UC with endometriosis, and have a chat with them about their experiences, One of the specific objectives of the group is to create a strategy to ensure the academic careers of those with endometriosis are not hindered by the condition.
