Margaret McKenzie is a successful business woman who established one of the first organic and natural food stores in New Zealand back in 1985 in Palmerston North.She had previously worked in the banking industry. She promotes living without synthetic chemicals in food,water,farming and in the natural environment.She believes that the environment must be preserved for future generations and has been active politically,standing for parliament in 2002. 

Margaret is a co-founder of Endometriosis NZ and encourages women to take control of their health issues and make informed choices.

She is an outdoor adventurous woman who has trekked in the Himalayas to the base of Mt Everest and travelled overland through Tibet.

She has a family of four grown-up children and 2 grandchildren.
