Patient Partnering Programme

The Patient Partnering Programme (PPP) was piloted at Christchurch Women's Hospital in 2004. This programme was developed for use in public hospitals as a result of trialling a holistic educational / counselling service at the Oxford Clinic Women's Health, Endometriosis Treatment Centre in Christchurch. As well as inter-departmental service in hospitals, Patient Partnering aims to fill treatment gaps and improve the patient journey by providing patients broader disease management advantages, aligning with endeavours to provide best practice.

The benefits, expected outcomes and patient review have been analysed and evaluated assessing performance, accountability and value added health care, confirmed by independent research.
